Creates a new document and clears both panes (Roman and Tengwar).
Open file as Roman text in left pane.
Open file as Tengwar text in right pane.
Open recently used file as either Roman or Tengwar text.
Saves the document in currently selected pane.
Saves the document in currently selected pane as file with a new filename.
Prints out the document in currently selected pane.
Quits KTT.
Cuts selected text in current pane (if any) and puts it into the clipboard.
Copies selected text in current pane (if any) to the clipboard.
Pastes the clipboard contents into the current pane at cursor position.
Inserts tengwar character used as list item from 1 to 24.
Transcribes Roman text in the left pane into Tengwar in the right pane. If there's a portion of Roman text selected only that text will be transcribed. If “Clear target pane before starting” option is selected in configuration, target pane will be cleared before transcription.
Transcribes Tengwar text in the right pane into Roman in the left pane. If there's a portion of Tengwar text selected only that text will be transcribed. If “Clear target pane before starting” option is selected in configuration, target pane will be cleared before transcription.
Toggles automatic transcription. When auto transcription is on text typed in one pane is automatically transcribed into the other — Roman to Tengwar or Tengwar to Roman.
Opens mode file. Note: you need to choose mode before doing any transcription.
Toggles the display of the main toolbar.
Toggles the display of the actions toolbar.
Toggles the display of the statusbar.
Opens configuration dialog.
Toggles Tengwar/Roman font in the Tengwar pane (the right one). In order to see correct transcription result you should always have this option on. You may, however, turn if off to examine keymapping used to write Tengwar text.
Invokes KDE Help system starting at the KTT help pages (this document).
Changes the mouse cursor to a combination of arrow and question mark. Clicking on items within KTT will open a help window (if one exists for the particular item) explaining the item's function.
